You will be denied any XP earned in the match that triggered this penalty. Further violations can result in harsher penalties. Tells you that you have triggered our AFK/Queue Dodging system. To that end, we have a variety of penalties in place based on the offense and the Agent's behavior history. If we detect that you're purposefully giving your team a hard time, you may be kicked from the match to prevent opportunistic enemies from taking advantage of your misconduct.ĪFK behavior, queue dodging, and friendly fire are highly discouraged-we expect our Agents to work together, win or lose. What penalties do players face for bad behavior? That is why we have dedicated systems to detect AFKs, queue dodging, and friendly fire-to hopefully reduce the number of Agents who decide to go rogue. Sorry, Agent, but that information is only available on a need-to-know basis-and what you need to know is that those systems are in place for your protection! Planting the Spike under a hail of enemy fire is challenging enough without worrying about friendly fire or your teammates disappearing mid-match. Queue dodging is when a player leaves the Agent select screen by disconnecting from the server, causing their team to be down a member when the match begins.įriendly fire happens when a player injures or kills a teammate using their Agent's ability. Simply put, a person is considered AFK if they're on the field but not participating in the match, putting their team at a disadvantage. AFK? Queue Dodging? Friendly Fire? What do those even mean?ĪFK is short for Away From Keyboard, meaning the player is either not at their computer or are behaving like they aren't there by not moving their Agent or communicating. Going AFK, queue dodging, or committing friendly fire not only damages your team's chances of winning, but puts you in line to face the consequences. This means staying in the game and giving it your best shot. Reduce it to 10-20 min so people actually dodge instead of troll-picking and expecting others to dodge for them.We hold our Agents to the highest standards and expect you all to be on your best behavior. TL:DR 30 minute dodge has increased trolling because people expect others to dodge. I bit the bullet and dodged just now because I had 3 junglers on my team. He thought someone would dodge, no one did, so the eve just went afk all game then roamed around as a level 1 when everyone was level 15. I was spectating a friend, and in 1700 elos, he got eve, with revive and clarity. It's not fair to me that I have to play 40 minute game because people think this or that guy will dodge. The dodge timer is high enough that no one wants to dodge, but it is something people think others will do because it's not elo-loss, so they troll pick and expect others to dodge. I'd rather wait 4-5 champ selects every few days, rather than have a single troll game for 40 minutes. And as a result, the trolling has QUADRUPLED. People aren't dodging because they don't want to wait 30 minutes. I swear a 1980 elo plat player picked ziggs because he was angry at me for last game, and later told me "I thought you guys would dodge!" He had never played ziggs. Some guy picked nunu mid because he thought he was support, he bragged about having 2 accounts to dodge, and then doesn't dodge.instaloss. Misunderstandings even at the 1700s are happening constantly. I know some of you are probably raging about the fact that you had to wait 4 champ selects because people dodged, but hear me out. I think we should reduce the dodge timer for ranked down to 20 minutes or 15 minutes.
