Specific pieces of hardware comparisons (this GPU or that GPU), build assistance(where do I plug this in, is this build OK), or other tech support questions will be removed. This is not /r/TechSupport or /r/BuildAPC. Submitting something with a lazy title hurts its chances of being archived even if it receives an awesome answer! You'll get the best response if the title contains a question. The title of your post should always be in the form of a question unless it's a meta or informational post. What is 4K? What's the difference between Intel and AMD? What's an IPS display? Do motherboards have an impact on gaming performance? What is PCI Express x16? Why does everyone hate VGA? Stay tuned to find out! This isn't my main issue though, the disconnecting/reconnecting is.Even the dumbest of questions deserve a serious answer! If you've ever been curious about something related to PC gaming that everyone just appears to fully understand except for you, this is the subreddit for you. (Laptop does not and has never had Synapse installed, but I don't think that should matter)ĮDIT 2: Upon further research I've found that the "Razer Electra v2" must have an issue with the "CONEXANT USB AUDIO" as well since there is a firmware update on the support page for it. From ~90 FPS to ~10 FPS for the maybe 10-15 seconds it disconnects)ĮDIT: Don't know if this helps, but it also shows as "CONEXANT USB AUDIO" in my laptop as well. (It also causes massive lag in any game I'm in when it does this. I rely on sound more than my own eyesight and it hurts me deeply that my headset is doing this. If this is a software issue (which I very much hope it is) please Razer. That being said I'm trying my hardest not to be upset with Razer because support has been great to me, I still have a warranty, but don't think I have the receipt from the Best Buy I bought it at, so without proof of purchase I can't refund. At first I thought it was my fault, but this is obviously a very common issue. I love Razer's headset's, but this issue is starting to really irritate me. I've uninstalled all drivers, unplugged the headset, reinstalled synapse, and tried again with no luck. I've done the usual that support tells me to do. I didn't want that to happen again so I've be SO careful. I have done nothing, but baby this headset since I managed to slice my original Razer Kraken Pro wire in half because of a really bad rocking chair I had. Just as a side note: My headset no longer shows up as "Razer Kraken 7.1 V2" in windows audio, now it shows up as "CONEXANT USB AUDIO" which I'm assuming is some generic audio driver. Pairing this with an issue I had prior where Synapse wouldn't even recognize it was plugged in I thought maybe it was the software. At first I thought it was a break in the wire somewhere, it seemed like it was towards the headset itself since if I would even breathe it would disconnect and if I wiggled the wire around it seemed to connect again (sometimes). For about 2-3 weeks now I've been having this issue. This is just like the issues everyone else is having from what I've read. You can do so by simply clicking flair under your link!
